I live for an ice cream cone, traveling, hanging with my family, going to concerts, sporting events and having FUN!! I am obsessed with helping women "LIVE LIFE LAVISHLY!" in their lives.
ONCE UPON A TIME
I was a business owner (still am), mom of 3 daughters living at home, past corporate employee, dreamer...yet I was sad and stuck.
Empty nest syndrome hit me hard. I was the "strong" one. I would never let the girls all being gone make me sad - at least that is what I told myself until it happened.
The year my youngest went to college, we moved from our hometown to where our construction business was located. I spent a good 3 years (yes I hate to admit that) really sad and just existing with very little LIVING!
I had all kinds of ideas, plans and dreams of creating a brand new business doing something I loved. The weight of my sadness kept me from moving forward.
Fast forward to spring of 2020...I had two things happen. I sprayed perfume on myself and thought "WEAR THE PERFUME!". I also read in my Bible that God LAVISHED His love on us.
What an odd combination right? Well, I was putting on perfume during the Covid shutdown. At first I thought why am I "wasting" this good perfume because I was working at home. Then I immediately thought that I should wear the perfume! We only live once! We need to enjoy life and live life now.
read my Bible one morning and saw the word "lavish", I loved the word. So I went to my dictionary to get the definition.
Lavish means "to expend or produce in abundance". Wow, what a way to live.
After I read that definition and told myself to go ahead and wear the perfume, LIVE LIFE LAVISHLY! was born! I knew I needed to share my passion and my message with women who were facing their "second act". I knew there were women who were facing or would face some of the same feelings I had when I hit the "empty nest" stage.
The beauty is that "LIVE LIFE LAVISHLY!" applies to any point in our lives.
